Karachi: Fake doctor caught using veterinary medicines

A dispenser was arrested for running a clinic and using veterinary medicines on humans in the City.

Officials said that Abdul Jabbar was caught when the Health Department’s special team raided his clinic in Lyari Town’s Kharadar area. The fake doctor, police said, was using veterinary medicines in the clinic, which the team later recovered, adding that he had also been running a clinic in Machar colony, and closed it after a patient’s death.

The accused confessed to experimentally mix up veterinary and human drugs, and that he had worked for nine years as a dispenser and running the clinic for last four years. Police dispatched the medicines for a laboratory test and started investigation into the case.
